ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE: Scrub exteriors, park buses in assigned locations, sweep and mop bus floors, clean interiors including walls, seats and windows, spray for insects as required.
JANITORIAL MAINTENANCE: Sweep and mop garage and shop floors using solvent cleaners when necessary, empty wastebaskets and trash barrels, clean lavatories and replenish paper products, remove litter from yard areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) 18 years of age or older with a valid CA driver’s license
2) excellent driving record
3) provide DMV driving record (H6) at the time of application (H-6)
4) must pass a background check and D.O.T. physical examination (which includes drug screen)
5) be a US Citizen or have right to remain permanently in U.S.
6) join labor union when hired
7) have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
8) a solid work history with automotive, mechanical and/or janitorial experience is preferred
9) BE WILLING AND ABLE TO WORK ANY DAY ON ANY SHIFT
