San Diego – Starting Wednesday, monthly transit passes for the Metropolitan Transportation System will be sold at the Euclid Transit Center. Riders will have the convenience of purchasing their monthly passes at the busy station through November 15. A permanent sales outlet is being identified for the area.

The red ticket trailer will be open seven days a week. The hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The trailer will sell monthly paper passes for adults, youth and seniors.

Monthly passes are also available at all 56 Vons locations throughout San Diego County and at the MTS Transit Store at First Avenue and Broadway in downtown San Diego.

MTS operates a 54.3-mile light rail transit network, 95 fixed bus routes, and ADA Complementary Public Paratransit Service in the San Diego region. In FY09 it set a system record by carrying more than 91 million passengers.
