Green Line provides enhanced service to Comic-Con from Mission Valley

San Diego, CA –The Metropolitan Transit System is set to carry the thousands of Comic-Con fans from July 17 to July 21.  To make travel to downtown affordable and hassle-free, MTS will increase service on the Green Line, which provides direct service to the Trolley Stations in front of the Convention Center.

MTS has also printed a limited quantity of commemorative Comic-Con 2-day, 3-day, 4-day and 5-day passes, which cost $10, $13, $16 and $20, respectively. The commemorative passes are sold at ticket booths at select Trolley Stations or The Transit Store at 102 Broadway in downtown.  To order in advance, using a debit or credit card, call The Transit Store at (619) 234-1060.   Day Passes provide unlimited rides on all Trolley lines and most MTS Bus Routes for the day(s) valid.

The kiosks accept cash only.  Day passes on Compass Cards for 1, 2, 3, and 4-days are available at ticket machines located at all Trolley Stations. Ticket machines accept cash, credit and debit cards.  For those without a Compass Card, a $2 fee for a new Compass Card will be added to the cost of the Day Pass.
