MTS Trolley Special Event Service for Sunday’s Paul McCartney Concert at PETCO Park

MTS mTicket Mobile Ticketing Option Activated for Concert-Goers Taking the Trolley

San Diego, Calif. – Rock legend Paul McCartney is returning to San Diego on Sunday for a sell-out concert at PETCO Park and MTS is offering its mobile ticketing option and scheduling extra trains to accommodate the large crowds expected.

To avoid Trolley ticket lines and speed up the boarding process, concert-goers can purchase and store Trolley passes right on their smart phones at any time prior to arriving at transit stations by using mTicket, MTS’s free mobile ticketing app. Multiple mTickets can be purchased on one smart phone too, making it easy for families and friends traveling to the concert together. To download the app, visit www.sdmts.com/mTicket.asp. Fans can also find the app by search for “mTicket” in the App Store or on Google Play.

All three Trolley lines provide direct service to PETCO Park. The Green Line goes straight to the Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station, just steps away from PETCO Park. Green Line trains will be running every 15 minutes prior to the concert. Blue Line and Orange Line passengers should disembark at the 12th & Imperial Transit Center for PETCO Park. To ensure fans get to PETCO Park in time to see all the action, MTS encourages concert-goers to purchase their fare and be on board a Trolley at least 90 minutes before the concert begins at 8 p.m.
