||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Orange Line’s second annual holiday music series begins on Friday, December 12, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Euclid Avenue Trolley Station. The first musical groups to perform will be the Lincoln High School String Ensemble and the San Diego Afternoon Strings. During the next 12 days there will be a dozen more musical concerts featuring other performers like Prince Habib, Alesia Rhodes, Willie Green, TeCheeta Lopez with Gerardo Nuno on keyboard and DJ Kool T. The holiday music is spearheaded by San Diego Councilman and MTS Board Member Anthony Young, with support from the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, Coca-Cola, and MTS. This is Councilman Young’s second year to offer the holiday music series. The funding from Councilman Young was made possible through the City of San Diego’s Commission for Arts and Culture. The schedule alternates between morning and afternoon performances at either the Euclid Avenue and 62nd Street Trolley Stations: Schedule
