If you are a senior graduating in Spring 2009 from an accredited San Diego County high school, enter to win a laptop!
Write a 5-minute speech to your fellow high school students outlining how they can reduce their carbon footprint by taking public transportation

40 students will each be awarded a laptop computer and commemorative certificate honoring their award-winning essay!

The MTS & Coca-Cola Scholarship program is presented by the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), Coca-Cola Bottling Company of San Diego, and San Diego County Office of Education.
Official Rules:
1. Entrants must reside in San Diego County, be in 12th grade, and be enrolled in an accredited San Diego County high school.
2. Speech must be at least 750 words and typed in 12-point type.
3. One entry per student.
4. Entries must be the sole work of the entrant. A student's signature on the entry form is required for verification.
5. Entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form stapled to the front of the essay.

6. Entries must be mailed and postmarked by April 24, 2009
