MTS and the Chargers are asking for your help to Stuff the Bus for the San Diego Food Bank. In 2008, MTS gathered over 2,000 pounds of food to help families.
Your donation of non-perishable food is needed to help the Food Bank serve more than 10,000,000 meals this year to San Diegans in need. Almost half of the meals will go to children 18 and younger. |

How to Donate:
Bring your donation to one of these Vons stores between 10 am and 2:30 pm, and you can help “Stuff the Bus"!
• Tuesday, November 10 - Vons at 6555 Mission Gorge Road in San Diego
• Wednesday, November 11 - Vons at 5555 Balboa Avenue in San Diego
• Thursday, November 12 - Vons at 3610 Adams Avenue in San Diego
• Friday, November 13 - Vons at 665 Saturn Street in Imperial Beach
What to Bring:
The San Diego Food Bank needs food that will provide nutritious meals. They are looking for all kinds of canned and boxed food. The most needed items include:
• Canned meat & tuna
• Canned soups
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Peanut butter
• Canned beans
• Pasta
• Dry cereal
• Rice
• Mac & cheese
The Food Bank cannot accept perishable items or items in glass jars due to food safety regulations.
