On Sunday, May 4th, children and their families are invited to the FREE opening celebrations for The New Children’s Museum in Downtown!

Up to two children (12 and under) ride FREE on MTS Bus and Trolley with each Adult who has a valid fare.  Remember to purchase your Day Pass for $5 before boarding a Trolley or when boarding a Bus.

To Get There:

Take the Special Event Trolley from Qualcomm Stadium to the Convention Center Station.  The Special Event Line will depart from the Qualcomm Stadium Station beginning at 11:15 a.m. and will go direct to the Convention Center Station. 

Free parking is available at the Qualcomm Stadium Station and at Hazard Center (lower levels only).

From East County take the Orange Line direct to the Convention Center Station.  If riding a Blue or Green Line Trolley, MTS Bus, Amtrak or Coaster, transfer to a Special Event or Orange Line Trolley to the Convention Center Station.

Explore the new “Green” museum with entertainment provided by the San Diego Youth Symphony, San Diego Dance Theater, Eveoke Dance Theater, hands-on activities, and the opening exhibit, childsplay.
