Parking

Qualcomm Stadium, located in Mission Valley on the Trolley’s Green Line, is the primary off-site parking location for participants and spectators.

Fare

• A valid ticket or pass is required to ride the Trolley. A one-way Trolley ticket costs $2.50 (or $1.25 for Senior/Disabled/Medicare riders), and a 1-Day Pass costs $5 (plus a one-time $2 fee if you do not already have a Compass Card). Tickets and Day Passes are available at the ticket machines at all Trolley stations. See additional fare information on the Fares page.

• 1-Day Passes will be available at the MTS Trolley booth at the Marathon Expo on May 31 & June 1. This includes passes post-dated for race day.

Trolley Service for Spectators Along the Course


• All three Trolley lines will be serving various stations along the full and half marathon courses. Stations along the marathon courses are highlighted below.

Fare

A valid ticket or pass is required to ride the Trolley. One-way Trolley tickets are $2.50 (one-way Senior/Disabled/Medicare tickets are $1.25) and 1-Day Passes are $5.00. Tickets and Day Passes are available at the ticket machines at all Trolley stations. See additional fare information on the Fares page.

Marathon Runners to the Starting Line

Special Trolleys will begin departing Qualcomm Stadium at 4:53 am and take a route that includes all stops in Mission Valley, Old Town and through Center City to the Fifth Avenue Station.  Participants can also take regular Green Line trains and transfer to the Orange Line at the Santa Fe Depot.

Qualcomm Stadium to Fifth Avenue (Starting Line*)

*Note that the starting line is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Fifth Avenue Trolley Station.

• Options 1, 2, 4, and 6, are direct service (no transfer) to 5th Avenue.
• Options 3, 5, and 7 (Green Line) require a transfer to the Orange Line at Santa Fe Depot.
