How to Apply

Employment listings are updated weekly and include a wide variety of career opportunities within San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.

To apply for a position:

You may apply for the positions in person at 1255 Imperial Avenue, Suite 900, San Diego, or fax 619-234-1047 or email jobs@sdmts.com.

All open positions require an application. Some positions require a resume in addition to the application and will state so in the job posting. To complete an application online, you may click Employment Application. You must click the "Print" button on the last page of the application in order to print your completed application in its entirety. 

You must complete a separate application for each position for which you wish to apply. We will not consider or respond to applications that do not specify an open position. If you are applying for a position with MTS Bus or Rail, a copy of your DMV H-6 printout, obtainable at any DMV Office, must be attached to your application confirming you have a minimum of two years current driving experience and an excellent driving record.
