Take the San Diego Apps Challenge!

We know you love our GO! app, but is there another MTS app you've been wishing for?

Mayor Jerry Sanders and the City of San Diego are challenging software developers to create apps that use city and partner data to enhance services and quality of life for San Diegans.

Software developers who win will receive $50,000 in cash prizes as well as promotional exposure. Prizes will be awarded for apps that enhance city services and quality of life for San Diegans and that use the data in innovative ways. Submitted apps can run on the web, desktop computers, tablets, or smartphones.

Submit your app here: http://sdappschallenge.com/

Still have an idea for an app, but are not a software developer?  No problem, you can share your idea for an app with the San Diego Apps Challenge here:

The public is encouraged to share application ideas related to energy, tourism, economic development, transportation, the environment, health and other areas.

Check out the page and get inspired by the ideas, or come up with your own!
