Ride Safe and Free on New Year's Eve after 9 p.m.!

 

MTS, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and Sycuan are continuing the holiday tradition of helping San Diego residents stay safe while ringing in the New Year. On December 31 (New Year's Eve), MTS will be offering free “Night Owl” service.

Beginning at 9 p.m. and running through the night on December 31, all MTS bus and Trolley rides will be free of charge. Most bus routes will end at their normally scheduled time, but Routes 7, 11 and 901 and the Trolley will run throughout the night.

Also, friends ride free on New Year's Day! When one person pays for a bus or Trolley fare, a friend or family member rides free.
