SAN DIEGO -- The Metropolitan Transit System celebrated Veterans Day on November 11 by donating 200 rides on the Trolley to servicemen and women on their way to holiday activities. "We're doing our part to serve our country after these men and women have given so much to serve us," said Paul Jablonski, Metropolitan Transit System chief executive officer. A special Trolley picked up the sailors from Pacific fleet at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning and dropped them off at the Santa Fe station. A new NABI bus was also in the Veterans Day parade. Residents of San Diego were excited to see the new bus driving down the Pacific Coast Highway and cheered for the coach. LINKS: More information about the new NABI buses in San Diego.
