All Adult, Senior/Disabled/Medicare, and Youth Monthly Passes Move to Compass Card Beginning September 1
(Edited June 22) All paper monthly Regional Adult Passes, Senior/Disabled/Medicare Passes and Youth Passes will be phased out for September 2009. Passengers will need to use the new Compass Card, which will be available at all outlets starting August 20, 2009.
Passengers may purchase their pass with cash or credit card at trolley ticket vending machines (the machine will dispense a Compass Card), from the Transit Store at 1st Ave. & Broadway in Downtown San Diego, from many Vons locations, via telephone by calling 511 and saying "Compass," or via the 511sd.com web eStore.
