PETCO Park
2008 Season Service Overview
San Diego Trolley will operate its Special Event 'Red Line' service between Qualcom Stadium and PETCO Park (Gaslamp Quarter Station) for all Padres home games.
Special Event 'Red Line' trains will depart Qualcomm Stadium every 15 minutes for each Padres home game. Click here for Special Event timetables. After the game, Special Event 'Red Line' service will resume approximately 2 hours after the first pitch (ex. 9:13 p.m. for a 7:05 p.m. game). Click here for additional details.
San Diego Trolley's Orange Line provides service to PETCO Park via the 12th & Imperial Transit Center and the Gaslamp Quarter station. (Orange Line station info)

The Green Line provides transfer service to the Orange Line (Grossmont Transit Center); the Blue Line (Old Town Transit Center); and the Special Event Line (Qualcomm Stadium). (Green Line station info)
The following is an overview of planned service to PETCO Park during the 2008 baseball season. This is designed to provide a tool for fans to use to better plan their trip to the ballpark.

Special Event 'Red Line' Service
During San Diego Padres home games, the Trolley will provide “Special Event Red Line” service from Qualcomm Stadium and Mission Valley stations to the ballpark area via the Convention Center . These trains will serve all Mission Valley stations including the Old Town Transit Center. This more direct service will shuttle passengers before and after home games.

In addition to nearly five thousand park-and-ride parking spots at Trolley stations,
there are an additional five thousand free parking spots available at Qualcomm Stadium (excluding major event days at Qualcomm Stadium).
The Trolley offers enhanced service system-wide after all Padres home games as well.
After each game, trolleys will depart the ballpark stations every few minutes as
necessary, providing service to all stations.
Blue, Orange, and Green Line Service
The Trolley encourages baseball fans and ballpark employees to take advantage of
thousands of free parking spots at its suburban stations, including Spring Street and
Grossmont Center in La Mesa, National City, Chula Vista, and Old Town.
Customers are encouraged to buy round-trip tickets before boarding the trolley on
their way to the ballpark in order to save time and avoid ticket lines after the game.
Regular round-trip Trolley fares to PETCO Park range from $2.50 to $5 depending on
the length of the trip. One-day Day Pass cost $5 for unlimited rides on
MTS buses and the Trolley for day valid. Ticket sales agents will be located at high
volume stations. For all other stations, purchase tickets from the station ticket vending machines. For added convenience, fans may purchase Day Passes for a specific date in advance online at the "eStore".
Taking the Bus to PETCO Park
Although there will be no San Diego Transit Padres Express bus service to PETCO Park,
the downtown area is well served by a network of local bus routes. MTS routes will
serve a ballpark bus stop at Park & 10th Avenue (Routes 4, 11, 901, and 929) and Market Street (Routes 3 and 5).
