Effective Sunday, June 8, routes 1, 20 and 120 will service a new, added stop on southbound Fashion Valley Rd. at Hotel Circle (ID# 11623).

Due to the Hillcrest Farmers Market University Avenue will be closed in both directions from Herbert St to Park Bl every Sunday from 5:00am-5:30pm starting on 1/26 to 12/28. As a result, the route 1 will be on detour and the eastbound route 1 stop on University Ave at Herbert St (#10494) and the westbound route 1 stops on University Ave at Normal St (#10865) and University Ave at Richmond St (#10862) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the eastbound route 1on University Ave at Richmond St (#10114) or at Park Bl at University Ave (#12804) and the westbound route 1 on Park Bl at University Ave (#11675) or University Ave at Vermont St (#11254).

Due to construction project, the northbound route 2 bus stop located at Broadway & 20th St (#10119) will be Closed 09/05/23 - 12/31/25.
Passengers are advised to catch the northbound 2 at Broadway & 22nd St (#10504)

Beginning Thursday 11/2/23, the westbound Route 4 bus stop (#11311) will be out of service until June, 2025 due to building construction on nearby property. Passengers are advised to connect with westbound service at the temporary A-frame stop located around the corner on 32nd St.

Due to the construction, both route 4 stops located at Imperial Av & 24th St (#10882 & #10127) will be closed for 3mths, 05/13/25 - 08/29/25 (24/7).

Passengers are advised to catch the route 4 at Imperial Av & 25th in both directions.

Due to the Bikeway Project, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at 36th St & Imperial Av (#10563) will be temporarily closed 02/03/25 - 7/17/25 (24/7).

Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the northside of Imperial on the bridge at the a - frame.

Due to the Imperial Ave Bikeway Project, MTS Route 4 will be on detour in both directions and the following bus stops will be closed 24 hours / day for approximately 5 Months, 06/12/24 - 07/17/25. Service delays are expected, so please plan accordingly.

Every Thursday, North Park Way between 30th and Granada will be blocked due to the weekly North Park Farmers Market. During this event, Route 6 will detour between 12N and 8:30pm. No bus stops will be affected.

Due to the Day-to-Day Vintage Market (North Park Way) on Saturday 9/20 from 9:00am-6:30pm North Park Way will be closed. As a result, the route 6 will be on detour. No bus stops will be missed.

Due to the Vegan Food Popup taking place the 2nd Saturday of every month, Route 6 will detour off North Park Way during this event on 12/13/25 from 9am - 5:30pm. No stops will be missed.

On Saturday July 19th from 6:30am until approximately 4pm, the annual San Diego Pride Parade & 5K will be taking place in the Hillcrest community. As of now, there are no planned detours for Routes 7 & 215, but, significant delays are expected due to heavy traffic along Park Blvd, so please plan accordingly. In the event that heavy traffic becomes a safety concern for our buses, we may have to detour Routes 7 & 215 away from the area of Park & University. Please check back for any updates.

Due to construction the following routes 8 and 27 bus stops will be temporarily closed 6/1/2025 - 7/31/2025 between the hours of 9:00pm - 5:00am Sunday through Thursday nights only

Due to the Pride Block Party event on 7/18/25, University Avenue will be closed in both directions from Herbert St to Centre St from 11:30am - 11pm. As a result, Route 10 will have to detour around closure. Eastbound and westbound Route 10 stops on University Ave at Park Blvd (ID# 13354 & 13355) will be closed. Passengers are advised to connect with eastbound Route 10 at the northbound Route 7 stop on Park Blvd at University Ave (#12456) and westbound Route 10 will service the southbound Route 7 stop on Park Blvd at University Ave (#12066).

On Saturday July 19th from 5am until approximately 4pm, Route 10 will be detoured off of University Ave as a result of the annual Pride Parade & 5K in the Hillcrest community. Bus stops on University between 1st Ave and Park Blvd in both directions will be temporarily discontinued.

During the course of the road closures, customers are advised to connect with service at the following bus stop locations:

* E/B Rte 10 at the temporary stop located on Washington @ 4th (Rte 3 Bus Stop), temporary A-Frame stop on Washington @ Lincoln,
El Cajon Blvd @ Park (Rte 1 Bus stop) or University @ Louisiana (Rte 7 Bus Stop).
(For E/B Rte 10 closure on University at Park, customers are advised to take N/B Rte 7
on Park @ University which stops at all Route 10 bus stops)

Due to construction, the northbound route 11 bus stop located at Adams Av & 39th St (#10581), will be temporarily closed 06/02/25 - 07/11/25 (24/7).

Passengers are advised to catch the northbound route 11 at Adams Av & Cherokee Av (#10577)

Due to construction, the westbound Route 12 bus stop on National Ave @ San Pasqual (ID# 10227) will be closed from January 29, 2025 thru August 15, 2025 (24hrs/day). Passengers are advised to connect with westbound Route 12 on Logan @ Dominion (ID# 10987) or on National @ 41st (ID# 10975).

Due to construction, the southbound route 13 bus stop located at El Cajon Bl & 43rd St (#10609), will be temporarily closed till 2026, 2 yrs (24/7)

Passengers are advised to use the nearby stop at Rosecrans St & Shelter Island Dr (Stop ID #12657) for service during this time.

Due to the Villa La Jolla Drive Drainage System Emergency work the southbound route 30 has experienced extreme delays. As a result the southbound route 30 will be on detour on 10/23/24-7/31/25 24hrs/ day, the southbound route 30 bus stops on Nobel Dr at Lebon Dr (#11151), Nobel Dr at La Jolla Village Square Drwy (#13058) and Villa La Jolla Dr at Holiday Ct (#89007) will not be serviced. Passengers can board the southbound route 30 at the temporary bus stop marked by an a-frame on Lebon Dr at Nobel Dr or at Villa La Jolla Dr at La Jolla Village Dr (#99931) or take the route 202 and transfer to the southbound route 30 at Gilman Dr at Eucalyptus Grove Ln (#11548).

Due to Pipeline Repairs, the southbound route 30 bus stop located at Villa La Jolla Dr & Holiday Ct, will be temporarily closed 09/02/24 - 08/01/25 (24/7).
Passengers are advised to catch the southbound route 30, at the A - frame located 300' south by the Nordstrom driveway.

No service stop closures

On Wednesdays only between 9am - 3pm, Route 225 will be on detour leaving the downtown terminal. No bus stops will be missed.

Due to the Imperial Beach 4th of July Event, Route 227 will be on detour all day on Friday, July 4, 2025.

During the detour, the route will serve temporary bus stops located along 2nd Street at Elm Avenue and Dahlia Avenue.

Bus Stop ID #40541 for Routes 875, 864, 848, 891, 892 on N. Johnson Ave & W. Main St. (Southbound) will be closed from 05/01/25 through 08/01/25. The closure is due to street construction. Passengers are advised to make connections at the nearest bus stop at Johnson Ave & Madison Ave (Stop ID: 40649)

Route 848 Eastbound at Emerald Hill Ln. and Woodside Ave we have a bus stop with a route blade missing. As of now our maintenance team is schedule to add a blade. There is a temporary A-frame at the location for route information.

This is an active bus stop.

Bus Stop 40846 at Calavo Dr. & Jamacha Blvd serving Route 855 northbound will be closed from 09/16/24 through 10/30/25. The closure is due to construction. A temporary A-Frame Bus Stop has been established approximately 160 feet to the south on Calavo Dr. nearer to Jamacha Blvd.

Bus Stop ID #40541 for Routes 875, 864, 848, 891, 892 on N. Johnson Ave & W. Main St. (Southbound) will be closed from 05/01/25 through 08/01/25. The closure is due to street construction. Effective Sunday, June 25, the westbound bus stop at Gilman & Myers will be closed due to a major construction project.
