San Diego, CA –On Saturday, March 14, the Gaslamp Quarter streets will become a sea of green at the 20th Annual ShamROCK St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

MTS encourages event-goers to check bus and Trolley schedule,s and buy Day Passes before boarding the Trolley on their way to ShamROCK to save time and avoid ticket lines after the event. Day Passes are $6 for people with Compass Cards or the Compass Cloud app. You may also buy day passes at check out through the Shamrock website. A one-way fare or Day Pass can be purchased at Trolley station ticket vending machines and onboard buses.
A Day Pass on Compass Card or an empty Compass Card can also be purchased at any Albertsons store. Once you have a Compass Card, keep it and reload it with another pass to use the next time you ride.
MTS operates more than 90 bus routes and three Trolley lines on 53 miles of double-tracked railway throughout metropolitan San Diego County.
