The mTicket 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day Passes cost the same as the commemorative paper Comic-Con passes, which will be sold at select Trolley stations during Comic-Con.

Do I need a Compass Card to use mobile ticketing?

No, you do not need a Compass Card to use mobile ticketing. The MTS mTicket application is a new, innovative ticketing option for MTS.

If I am traveling with friends and family, can I purchase more than one ticket on my phone?

Yes, customers will be able to purchase more than one ticket as part of one transaction. To purchase MTS mTickets for multiple riders, select the number of tickets you wish to purchase from the product list. The entire group must ride together with the holder of the mobile ticket.

How and when do I need to activate my mobile ticket?

You can activate your MTS mTicket at any time on the day of travel before boarding the Trolley. Have your activated mTicket ready to show to code compliance officers when asked.

How long does my mobile ticket stay active?

Your mobile ticket will stay active for the entire service day(s) for which it is valid. This includes late-night trips on the posted timetable that occur after midnight.

When do mobile tickets expire?

Mobile tickets expire at the end of the service day for which they are valid. Expired tickets will automatically move to the History tab under “My Tickets.”

If I lose cell phone service while trying to use my ticket, will my mobile ticket still work?

Mobile tickets do not need cell phone service to be displayed; however, service is needed to purchase a ticket. You must purchase your ticket before boarding the Trolley (mTickets can be purchased in advance and activated any time before you board the Trolley on the day of travel). If you lose cell phone service after boarding the Trolley, you will still be able to activate and display purchased tickets. You will not be able to make any purchases or changes until your cell phone service is restored.

What happens if my smartphone battery dies before I show my mobile ticket?

You are responsible for keeping your smartphone charged while riding with a mobile ticket. You MUST pay the cash fare if your smartphone is not working, so please plan accordingly.
