The college pass is a great way to get to participating San Diego colleges or universities—no parking hassles, no car expenses, and unlimited rides throughout the month! College passes are good for unlimited riding for the specified time on MTS buses and Trolleys. College monthly and semester passes are not valid and cannot be upgraded for rides on Premium Express bus or rural bus services. The college pass is good for partial fare on COASTER commuter rail service (upgrade required).

College Semester/Quarter Passes

The College Semester Pass lets you ride as much as you want from the first day of class to the last day of finals. And there’s more! There are free bonus days before the term begins and after the term ends, so you keep riding at no additional cost. College monthly and semester passes are not valid and cannot be upgraded for rides on Premium Express bus or rural bus services.

Passes are available at these colleges and universities: SDSU, USD, UCSD, City College, Mesa, Miramar, Southwestern, Grossmont, and Cuyamaca community colleges.

Limit one pass per student while supplies last. Student ID card required for purchase. No refunds, no exceptions. Pass is VOID if removed from ID card.
