The 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2023 celebrating “Unity with Peace in Ireland and Beyond.”
The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street and the festival will run from 9 am – 6 pm. See dignitaries and honorees, floats, high school marching bands, police and fire department units, Irish community groups, dancing groups, equestrian units, clowns, antique cars, and more. Then enjoy a fun day at the festival for the whole family.
Join us in our “all-ages” combined festival and beer garden area located at 6th and Laurel before and after the parade. Festival area entry is $10 for adults 21 and over. Entry is free for under 21 and active duty military with ID.

How to get there:
There will be limited parking during this event at Balboa Park - take MTS instead! Route 7 or Rapid 215 will get you to Inspiration Point (Park Blvd. & Inspiration Point Way). From there, you can walk or take the free tram service to the Festival at Balboa Drive and El Prado.
