MTS: Getting You to SDSU Events

Getting to SDSU is a breeze with MTS. With a dedicated underground Trolley station, bus, and Rapid routes that all go directly to SDSU, there's a number of ways to easily get to campus for an Aztecs game, a concert at Viejas Arena or CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre, and more.

Contactless Payment is here! If you travel to SDSU only for concerts and sporting events, then you no longer need to worry about getting a PRONTO card. Simply tap your payment on a validator and be on your way! Check out our Ways to Pay page to see what accepted payment types are available. Limit one payment type per person.

Paying Your Fare with PRONTO

Avoid the post-event rush and get to the action faster! Aztecs fans and event-goers can pay their fare right from their phone using the PRONTO app, available on the App Store or Google Play. Just load money onto your account, then scan your app on a validator each time you board to pay for a one-way fare (good for free transfers within two hours).

Prefer a physical card? PRONTO cards can be purchased or reloaded at any Trolley ticket machine or retail partner location. Remember that each rider needs their own PRONTO card or app to travel.

💡 Pro tip: Load enough for a round trip before the game starts so you can head home without waiting in line. Funds on your PRONTO account never expire, so you’ll be ready for your next SDSU game, campus event or concert at Viejas Arena or CalCoast Credit Union Open Air Theatre.
