San Diego – Do you plan to ride the Mid-Coast Trolley Extension when it goes into service? If so, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) wants to hear from you. The agency is hosting three workshops for the public to provide input and discuss bus route connection plans for Mid-Coast, which is set to open in 2021. For those unable to attend the workshops, the public can complete the survey online on the MTS website.
MTS is looking to better-understand travel patterns for commuters intending to use Mid-Coast to help the agency design bus-feeder routes from various communities to the new Trolley stations. Mid-Coast will extend Trolley service from Old Town to University City, and serve nine new stations along the way. The study area will primarily include Clairemont, Kearny Mesa, La Jolla, Linda Vista, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, and University City. The upcoming workshop schedule includes:
