Overnight Bus Service Between San Ysidro and Downtown San Diego

Riders traveling to and from San Ysidro, San Diego’s South Bay communities and downtown San Diego, now have access to transit 24/7. Route 910 is a new route (launched in early 2025) that runs from the U.S. - Mexico border to downtown San Diego overnight when the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley cannot operate.

  • Route 910 service runs every 30 minutes from approximately 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Stops are located in San Ysidro, South San Diego, Chula Vista, National City, Barrio Logan and Downtown San Diego
  • A standard transit fare applies for Route 910 ($2.50 Adult, $1.25 Senior, Disabled, Medicare one-way fares)
  • Route 910 trave time is competitive with the Trolley

Bonus: With the launch of new overnight express service, MTS is also expanding early morning service on Route 992 to the Airport. Trips from downtown to the Airport will now start at approximately 4:15 a.m. See the Route 992 schedule here.
