The GOVX San Diego Half Marathon & 5k's signature scenic route begins between Petco Park and the San Diego Convention Center on palm-tree lined Harbor Drive and continues with spectacular views of the USS Midway Museum, San Diego Bay, San Diego’s skyline, Harbor Island, Spanish Landing Park and Cancer Survivor Park. Then it makes its way through historic Liberty Station while passing NTC Park (formerly, the Naval Training Center) and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Next, it’s up Washington Street through the neighborhoods of Mission Hills and Hillcrest. The last few miles coast gradually downhill, passing beautiful Balboa Park and lead right back into downtown, with an epic finish inside Petco Park!

Due to the San Diego Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday 3/22 from 6:00am to 12:00pm the route 10 will be on detour in the Hillcrest area. As a result, the eastbound route 10 bus stops on Pacific Highway at Witherby St/ Gate 4 (#11957) and University Ave at 5th Ave (#10098) and the westbound route 10 bus stop on Washington at India (#13356) will be closed during event. Passengers are advised to board the eastbound route 10 at the temporary bus stop marked by A-frame 200' south of Pacific Highway at Witherby or at the southbound route 3 stop on Washington at 4th (#10468) or University Ave at 10th Ave (#10106) and the westbound route 10 on Washington St at Washington St Trolley (#99373).

Passengers are advised to board the northbound route 11 at 1st Ave at Upas St (#12414) or at the eastbound route 1 bus stop on University Ave at 7th Ave (#10478) and the southbound route 11 on University Ave at 6th Ave (#11245) or at 1st Ave at Walnut Ave (#12017)
Due to the San Diego Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday 3/22 from 6:00am to 12:00pm the route 120 will be on detour in the Hillcrest and Downtown areas. As a result, the northbound route 120 bus stops on 5th Ave at Upas St (#12773) and 5th Ave at University Avenue (#12431) will be closed during the event. Passengers are advised to board at 5th Ave at C St (#12434) in the downtown area or at the northbound route 3 stop on 5th Ave at Quince St (#12439) or at the eastbound route 1 bus stop on University Avenue at 7th Ave (#10478) in the Hillcrest area.
In Hillcrest, the northbound 120 buses will service the eastbound Route 1 stop (#10478) on University Ave at 7th. Downtown, Route 120 will pick up on 5th at 'C' St. (#12434)
