The scenic, bayside streets of downtown San Diego will come alive with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente! A long tradition of the DirectTV Holiday Bowl, this exciting family event brings together world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams, and a procession of enormous balloons – more than any other parade! Over 100,000 street-side spectators will enjoy the parade along with a nationwide television audience. Street-side viewing of the parade is FREE!
The parade route is on Harbor Drive, between Seaport Village and Petco Park. View the map of the Parade Route here. For more information, view the Holiday Bowl Parade website. Take any of the three Trolley lines (Blue, Green, or Orange) to stops close to the parade.

Free parking is available at various lots along the Trolley lines.
How to get to the Holiday Bowl Parade
From Green Line stations: Take the Green Line to Seaport Village, Convention Center or Gaslamp Quarter stations. Trains depart all stations every 15 minutes most of the day.
From UC San Diego Blue Line stations: Take the Trolley to Santa Fe Depot then transfer to the Green Line to Seaport Village, Convention Center or Gaslamp Quarter stations. Trains depart all stations every 15 minutes most of the day (every 7.5 minutes on the Blue Line during the morning and evening commute hours).
Take the Orange Line to 12th & Imperial, and transfer to Sycuan Green Line trains to Seaport Village, Convention Center, or Gaslamp Quarter stations.
