Come and join as the City of La Mesa salutes "Old Glory" during the city's annual Flag Day Parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Memorial Drive, University Ave., and La Mesa Blvd and proceeds west through La Mesa Village.
The La Mesa Community Relations and Veterans Commission will provide free ice cream bars at “The Lookout” at Legacy Park on the corner of La Mesa Blvd., 4th St., and Allison Ave., while supplies last.
Due to limited parking, spectators are encourage to take public transit. It's easy to get to La Mesa via the Orange Line Trolley. Be sure to load your PRONTO card in advance to avoid having to wait to pay for your ticket. Park and Ride at one of our nearby stations and then take the Orange Line to La Mesa Blvd Station.
