Manchester United are set to play LaLiga outfit Real Betis in a preseason friendly match. This will only be the 4th time the two clubs have played in their long history that each date back more than one hundred years.

Manchester United is one of the most widely supported soccer teams in the world. United is a winner of a record 20 league titles and have won every major trophy in England and Europe. They hold the record for the largest crowd at a soccer match in U.S. history with 109,318 fans for a 2014 match against Real Madrid at Michigan Stadium.

United is led by Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes as well as English star Marcus Rashford and Scottish national team hero Scott McTominay, both developed at the MUFC academy.

Real Betis founded in 1907 is based in Seville and is the 3-time winner of Copa Del Rey, most recently in 2022, beating Valencia. Spanish star Isco Alarcon and World Cup champions Nabil Fekir, German Pezzella and Guido Rodriguez headline the Real Betis squad, along with American midfielder Johnny Cardoso, who plays for the US National Team.
