How to Get There with MTS

Don't want to deal with traffic or parking? Take Route 901 to NASNI Transit Center and then walk to the Carrier Gate at Quay Rd. and Alameda Blvd. This is the only entrance for pedestrian access. Riders can use MTS's free Park & Ride lots and take the Trolley to catch Route 901 at the 12th & Imperial Transit Center (served by all Trolley lines), or the Iris Avenue Transit Center (UC San Diego Blue Line). Riders from downtown may also use the ferry and walk two blocks to Route 901.

People who want to explore Coronado before or after the event can use Route 904, which runs from the Ferry landing to Coronado City Hall along Orange Avenue. There will be extra service on Route 904, operating approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day. Trips on Route 904 are also free.

Please note: While no detours for Routes 901 or 904 are planned at this time, that is subject to change. Be sure to check our Alerts & Detours page for updated information. Real-time bus ad Trolley information is also available in the OneBusAway app, or PRONTO app. Use our Trip Planner for exact directions on getting to NASCAR San Diego.
