FilmOut San Diego will be presenting the 25th Annual FILMOUT SAN DIEGO LGBTQ FILM FESTIVAL August 21-24, 2025.
One of the longest-running film festivals in Southern California and the only LGBTQ film festival in the San Diego area. The festival is well-respected in the film community and often have World and U.S. premieres. People from around the world attend the festival as offer filmmakers Q&A sessions after most films. Interviews with filmmakers and talent are uploaded to social media platforms for maximum exposure.
This year the annual San Diego LGBTQ Film Festival will be a four-day event that includes international, documentary, short and feature films shown in two different locations.
FilmOut San Diego annually affirms the ongoing integrity and boundless imagination of our community and the artists who tell our stories.
The Opening Night film is shown at the National History Museum in Balboa Park with the rest of the films shown at the Museum of Photographic Arts.

Taking MTS is the greenest way to get to and from Balboa Park. Ride the UC San Diego Blue Line or Orange Line to City College or take Rapid 215 to City College and hop on Routes 3, 7 or 120 to Balboa Park.
