Detour San Diego Pride Parade & 5K impacting Route 1, Saturday July, 18,2026

On Saturday, July 18, from 5:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM, Route 1 will be detoured off University Avenue due to the annual Pride Parade in the Hillcrest community. All bus stops on University Avenue between 6th Avenue and Park Boulevard (in both directions) will be temporarily closed during this time.

Detour Rt 1 Detour Hillcrest Farmers Market Every Sun

Active Period: From Jan 26, 2025 5:00 AM to Dec 27, 2026 5:30 PM
Due to the Hillcrest Farmers Market University Avenue will be closed in both directions from Herbert St to Park Bl every Sunday from 5:00am-5:30pm starting on 1/26 to 12/28. On Saturday July 18th from 5am until approximately 4pm, the annual San Diego Pride Parade & 5K will be taking place in the Hillcrest community. As of now, there are no planned detours for Routes 7 & 215, but, significant delays are expected due to heavy traffic along Park Blvd, so please plan accordingly. In the event that heavy traffic becomes a safety concern for our buses, we may have to detour Routes 7 & 215 away from the area of Park & University. Please check back for any updates.

On Saturday July 18th from 5am until approximately 4pm, Route 120 will be detoured off of University Ave as a result of the annual San Diego Pride Parade in the Hillcrest community. On Saturday July 18th from 5am until approximately 4pm, the annual San Diego Pride Parade & 5K will be taking place in the Hillcrest community. As of now, there are no planned detours for Routes 7 & 215, but, significant delays are expected due to heavy traffic along Park Blvd, so please plan accordingly. In the event that heavy traffic becomes a safety concern for our buses, we may have to detour Routes 7 & 215 away from the area of Park & University. Please check back for any updates.
