Please be advised that Route 1 will operate on detour on May 31, 2026, due to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.

4:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Passengers may use Fashion Valley Transit Center or the stop located at El Cajon Blvd & I-15 during this time.
10:00 AM – 2:30 PM: Bus stops for Route 1 heading toward La Mesa will reopen and be accessible.

However, bus stops for Route 1 heading toward Fashion Valley will remain closed from El Cajon Blvd & Texas to University Ave & 6th Ave until 2:30PM. Passengers are encouraged to use Fashion Valley Transit Center or the stop located at El Cajon Blvd & Texas.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

Detour Rt 11- Post Rock N Roll Detour

Due to the Rock N Roll Marathon on Sunday May 31st the route 11 will continue on detour until 9:00pm due to heavy traffic around the area and Ash St being closed due to cleanup. Due to Rock N Roll Marathon Setup and closure of Ash St between 2nd and Kettner, the Route 11 will be on detour in both directions on 5/30/2026 from 6:30am - 11:30pm. During this time, from approximately 4:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Route 992 will not serve stops along Harbor Drive between Broadway and Hawthorn Street.Passengers may utilize a temporary bus stop at Pacific Highway & Cedar Street or Bus stops located at Broadway and Kettner for service in both directions.
