Fashion Valley Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the Fashion Valley Station. Passengers are advised to use the elevators of the adjacent parking structure.

Union Grantville Station Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the Union Grantville Station, passengers that need to access the ground level are advised to take the Trolley to the Mission San Diego Station and transfer to the Route 14 from bus stop (#13405) Ward Rd & Mission San Diego Trolley Station until elevators are back in service.  When Route 14 is not running, a replacement bus shuttle will be provided between Mission San Diego and Union Grantville during Trolley service times.

Stadium Station Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the Stadium Station, passengers are advised to use the ramp or stairs.

SDSU Transit Center is MTS only underground station. Please note that the elevators have no access to the other side of the platform. 

SDSU Escalators Outage Procedures

If the escalators are currently out of service, you may use the stairs or elevators.

SDSU Elevator Outage Procedures

If the elevators are out of service at the SDSU Station:

Eastbound if Westbound is operational

• Passengers are advised to ride an Eastbound train towards the UC San Diego Health East Station and board a Westbound trolley back to SDSU.

Westbound if Eastbound is operational

• Passengers are advised to ride a Westbound train towards the Grantville Station and board an Eastbound trolley back to SDSU.

If all elevators are out of service

Eastbound

• Eastbound passengers that need to access the ground level are advised to ride an Eastbound train to the 70th St Station and transfer to the Route 14 Westbound from bus stop (#99098) that states Grantville Trolley, back to SDSU.  Outside of Route 14's regular hours, a replacement bus shuttle will be provided between UC San Diego Health East Station and SDSU during Trolley service hours.

Westbound

• Westbound passengers that need to access the ground level are advised to ride an Westbound train to the Mission San Diego Station and board the Route 14 Eastbound from bus stop (# 13405) Ward Rd & Mission San Diego Trolley Station that states Baltimore & Lake Murray, back to SDSU.  Outside of Route 14's regular hours, a replacement bus shuttle will be provided between UC San Diego Health East Station and SDSU during Trolley service hours.

Grossmont Elevator Outage Procedures

If the elevators are out of service at the Grossmont Station, passengers are advised to use bus Route 852 as an alternative to get to the upper level or back down to the platform.  Outside of Route 852's regular service hours, a replacement shuttle will operate between Grossmont Trolley and Grossmont Center at Stop #11819 on Grossmont Center Drive.

Nobel Drive Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the Nobel Drive Station, passengers are advised to access the Elevator within the parking structure until the main elevators are back in service.

UCSD Central Campus Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the UCSD Central Campus Station, passengers unable to use the stairs are advised to go to the UCSD Health La Jolla station to catch the UCSD Shuttle bus to the UCSD Campus. Alternatively, passengers can go to the Nobel Dr. Station and catch the Route 202 at Nobel Drive & La Jolla Village Square Driveway #10358 to the Gilman Transit Center.

Executive Drive Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the Executive Drive Station Station, passengers will board the Northern Blue Line and disembark at UTC, to transfer to Route 204 and exit at the intersection of Genesee Avenue & La Jolla Village Drive (Stop ID#13387).

UTC Transit Center Elevator Outage Procedure

If the elevators are out of service at the UTC Station, passengers are advised to access the Elevator within the parking structure until the main elevators are back in service.

Boulevard Transit Plaza - Elevator Outage Procedure

If the Boulevard Transit Plaza elevators are out of service, buses will not service the ground level stops. Buses will detour away from the dedicated lane and service the off-ramp stops on El Cajon Blvd.

City Heights Transit Plaza - Elevator Outage Procedure

If the City Heights Transit Plaza elevators are out of service, buses will not service the ground level stops. Buses will detour away from the dedicated lane and service the off-ramp stops on University Ave.
