With 5,000 free parking spots at SDCCU Stadium, fans are encouraged to ride the Sycuan Green Line Trolley to Downtown
San Diego – More than 30,000 off-road motorcycle racing fans are expected to descend on Petco Park for the fifth year in a row this Saturday, February 2 for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and MTS is adding Trolley service to accommodate the crowds. All three Trolley Lines heading to Downtown drop fans off at the doorstep to all the action.
The Petco Park gates will open to spectators at 12 p.m. for practice and qualifying runs. For those seeking fun outside of the Park prior to the event, the Monster AMA Supercross will feature a Fan Fest Pit Party from noon to 6:00 p.m. on the Lexus Premier Lot, just steps away from the 12th & Imperial Transit Center. The show will kick off at 6:30 p.m., with the first race beginning at 7 p.m.
Pre-Event Trolley Service
Trolleys will depart all stations every 15 minutes throughout the day.
Sycuan Green Line: Trains will depart all stations for Downtown every 15 minutes most of the day.
UC San Diego Blue Line and Orange Line: Trains will depart all stations for Downtown every 15 minute all day.
Post-Event Service Boost
Increased Trolley service will be offered on all three lines immediately after the event to accommodate crowds leaving the Downtown area.
Sycuan Green Line: Trains will depart 12th & Imperial every 15 minutes towards SDCCU Stadium and Santee.
- Last train for Santee leaves at 10:45 p.m. from Gaslamp Quarter Station
- Last train for SDSU leaves at 11:36 p.m.
UC San Diego Blue Line:
- Last train for San Ysidro leaves at midnight from 12th & Imperial
Orange Line:
- Last train leaves at 11:56 p.m.
