Wherever, Whenever, You're Meant to Ride the Trolley to Shakira

Skip traffic and parking, MTS gets fans to Snapdragon Stadium with ease

San Diego – Global pop icon Shakira is bringing her electrifying Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to San Diego this week, and the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is ready to get fans there with ease. Concertgoers coming from “wherever, whenever” can ride the Green Line Trolley directly to Stadium Station, skipping traffic and parking hassles.

To accommodate the sold-out pack of "She Wolf” fans, Green Line Trolleys will serve Stadium Station every 15 minutes or better before and after the concert, with extra service added during peak times. Fans who trust their hips to take the Trolley can dance past traffic and enjoy a smoother, stress-free ride with MTS.

Easy Ways to Pay Your Fare

PRONTO: Concertgoers should download the PRONTO app in advance. Load at least $5 on your virtual card, which covers a round-trip fare for adult riders. All riders must tap or scan at station pass validators to activate their pass prior to boarding.

Contactless Payment: Fans now have the option to simply tap a credit card or other contactless payment options, such as a smartphone or smartwatch, on a station validator to pay for a one-way ride ($2.50, valid for two hours). This allows attendees to bypass the ticket vending machine and speed up wait times.

Every person needs their own payment option; fans cannot buy fares for multiple people on the same account, card or payment method.

Parking Options

Fans can park at one of MTS’ free Park & Ride lots throughout the Trolley system. The most convenient locations are:
