The annual Women's March returns to San Diego's waterfront on Saturday, January 18. Event attendees are encouraged to use transit to get to the event. The Trolley's Sycuan Green Line provides service to the County Center/Little Italy Station, just across the street from the start and end of the event.
Green Line trains will run every 15 minutes leading up to, and following the event. MTS will add extra trains into service pre- and post-event as needed. People can take advantage of one of MTS' free Park & Ride lots across the region to cut down on travel time, and avoid traffic in the downtown area.
Riders are encouraged to plan ahead and download the mobile ticketing app, Compass Cloud, to get Day Passes ($6 Adults, $3 Youth and Seniors) right to their phone. Multiple passes can be added onto one phone for groups traveling together. (Youth 12 & under ride free on Saturdays when accompanied by a paying adult passenger.)
*NOTE: For riders coming from San Ysidro or Beyer Blvd, Trolley servie is suspended due to track work, and a bus bridge will operate directly between Iris Avenue and San Ysidro. Normal Trolley service will operate from Iris Avenue to downtown San Diego. Learn more.
