4th of July Round Up

4th of July

The 4th of July is almost here and we’re ready to get you to all the celebrations around San Diego. Plan ahead and get your mobile ticket(s) right to your phone with the Compass Cloud app, then check out these events.

Big Bay Boom – The largest display of fireworks in the county starts at 9pm. You can view the fireworks from around North San Diego Bay – but we’ll have extra Trolley service on all 3 lines for prime access to spots around Seaport Village, County Center, the Convention Center and more. Service Info

Old Town 4th of July – Enjoy a parade and celebrate Independence Day like they would have in the 1800s. The action goes from 11am-4pm. Hop on the Sycuan Green Line to get to the fun.

Coronado Parade – The Coronado Independence Day Parade kicks off at 10am. Stick around to enjoy the Concert in the park at 4pm in Spreckels Park or even catch views of the Big Bay Boom from the island. Remember – Route 904 is free all summer long thanks to the City of Coronado! The route also operates with more frequency and later hours of service on the weekend so you have more time to explore.

If you'll be out an about on Fourth of July - don't forget that it's a Friends Ride Free Holiday, so every fare paying adult passenger (18+) can bring a guest on board with them for free!
