MTS has developed recommendations to both maintain and increase the number of taxicab wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV) that operate. As we begin to implement these recommendations, this webpage will help highlight some of these strategies and incentives.
Current Permit holders of a Taxicab WAV may request an annual renewal fee waiver by agreeing to the Taxicab WAV Fee Waiver Guidelines and completing and submitting the Fee Waiver Request for Current Taxicab WAV form. The form must be submitted by December 31, 2023.
Those interested in applying for a new Taxicab WAV permit fee waiver may do so between January 1 and May 31, 2024. Please stay tuned for more information!
