How to Ride to San Diego Pride

San Diego Pride is one of the city’s biggest and most colorful festivals, bringing thousands of people together to celebrate in Hillcrest for the annual Pride Parade and Festival. With more than 250,000 people expected to attend, traffic and parking can get crowded pretty quickly.

How to Ride to Pride with MTS

Make your day out at Pride a bit easier by riding with MTS. Here’s how you can ride to Pride without the headaches.

Contactless Payment

Pay for your ride easily with Contactless Payment. Simply tap your credit or debit card, mobile wallet, or wearable device on a PRONTO validator. A $2.50 one-way fare will be deducted and is good for two hours. Note: Each person in your party will need their own separate payment method.

Rapid 215

  • Offers 15-minute service to University Avenue & Park Boulevard for easy parade access. This stop is just 3 blocks west of the parade’s starting point on Park Blvd and Normal Street.
  • Want to be closer to the festival area? Connect to the free Pride shuttle service at the Old Naval Hospital on Park Blvd and Presidents Way. Disembark at the northbound stop (Park Blvd. and Naval Hospital) or the southbound stop (Park Blvd and Inspiration Point Way) to catch the Pride shuttle.

Route 7

  • Take Route 7 to Park Blvd. and Presidents Way to the free Pride shuttle service.

Bus Detours During the Pride Parade

Routes 1, 3, 10, 11 and 120 will be detoured on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bus stops on University Avenue between 1st Ave and Park Boulevard in both directions will temporarily be discontinued, including the bus stop on 5th Ave at University. MTS at the Pride Parade

MTS was proud to take part in last year's Pride Parade with the MTS Pride Bus. Our team paraded and handed out goodies to the crowd. Here are a few highlights from the celebration.
