Ongoing Track Work
UC San Diego Blue Line - Single Tracking
After 9 p.m. starting Sunday May 10, through Thursday, May 14, 2026
Blue Line trains will operate on a normal schedule Sunday through Thursday, May 10-14, 2026. The Trolley will be single tracking starting at 9 p.m. each night, between Beyer Blvd. and San Ysidro, to build a retaining wall on the side of the tracks.
The Trolley will still operate on a 15-minute schedule. Riders will board as normal on both platforms for all trains. Single-tracking may result in delays to service.
Regular service will resume on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Orange Line Improvement Project
Courthouse to Massachusetts Avenue Closure
There will be no Trolley service on the Orange Line between Courthouse and Massachusetts Avenue Station on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026. For service in downtown San Diego, use the UC San Diego Blue Line. Regular Trolley service will resume on Monday, May 18, 2026 for the morning commute.
Shuttle buses will be available for Orange Line riders traveling to Massachusetts Avenue, Encanto/62nd Street, Euclid Avenue, 47th Street, 32nd and Commercial, 25th and Commercial, and 12th and Imperial.
