Ongoing Track Work
Downtown Construction Work Overnight
January 5 - February 4, 2026
In order to maintain safety and efficient operations, crews will be performing track maintenance in the downtown area throughout January. The work will not impact Trolley service, but will cause noise overnight (between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., six days a week).
Orange Line Improvement Project
Courthouse to Massachusetts Avenue Closure
There will be no Trolley service on the Orange Line between Courthouse and Massachusetts Avenue Station on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, 2026. For service in downtown San Diego, use the UC San Diego Blue Line. Regular Trolley service will resume on Monday, January 19, 2026 for the morning commute.
Shuttle buses will be available for Orange Line riders traveling to Massachusetts Avenue, Encanto/62nd Street, Euclid Avenue, 47th Street, 32nd and Commercial, 25th and Commercial, and 12th and Imperial.
