UC San Diego Blue Line - Single Tracking
After 9 p.m. starting Monday February 23, through Friday, February 27, 2026
Blue Line trains will operate on a normal schedule Monday through Friday, February 23-27, 2026. The Trolley will be single tracking starting at 9 p.m. each night, between 8th Street and E Street, to begin replacing rail ties on the track.
The Trolley will still operate on a 15-minute schedule. Riders at 8th Street and E Street Stations will use the eastbound platform for all trains. Single-tracking may result in minor delays to service.
Regular service will resume on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Orange Line Improvement Project
Courthouse to Massachusetts Avenue Closure
There will be no Trolley service on the Orange Line between Courthouse and Massachusetts Avenue Station on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026. For service in downtown San Diego, use the UC San Diego Blue Line. Regular Trolley service will resume on Monday, March 9, 2026 for the morning commute.
Shuttle buses will be available for Orange Line riders traveling to Massachusetts Avenue, Encanto/62nd Street, Euclid Avenue, 47th Street, 32nd and Commercial, 25th and Commercial, and 12th and Imperial.
