In person public comments will be taken first, virtual attendees will be taken in the order in which they raise their hand. Requests to speak will not be taken after the public comment period ends, unless under the Chair's discretion. General Public Comment, at the beginning of the Board of Directors meeting only, will be limited to five speakers. Additional speakers with general public comments will be heard at the end of the meeting. Two minutes of time is allotted per speaker, unless otherwise directed by the Chair.

Written public comments will be recorded in the public record and will be provided to MTS Board Members in advance of the meeting. Comments must be emailed or mailed to the Clerk of the Board* by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the meeting.

Taxicab Advisory Committee
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System’s Taxi Advisory Committee is comprised of 15 voting member that generally meets quarterly. Members selected as follows: MTS Board of Directors member assigned as Chairperson, one member appointed by San Diego Convention and Visitor’s Bureau; San Diego County Regional Airport Authority; San Diego Convention Center; San Diego Travelers Aid Society, and two members from the Hotel Industry, five taxicab owners, five taxicab lease drivers, two non-voting members from County of San Diego’s Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures and County of San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System's Accessible Services Advisory Committee is comprised of 15 voting members that generally meets quarterly. Members selected as follows: MTS Board of Directors member assigned as Chairperson, one member from each of the following: San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Facilitating Access to Coordinated Transportation (FACT), San Diego Regional Center, San Diego Center for the Blind, State Council of Developmental Disabilities, two members from each of the following: County of San Diego Health and Human Services Department (Aging and Independent Services and Behavioral Health Services), Access to Independence, Deaf Community Service, and two individuals with a disability that use MTS fixed route service
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System’s Public Security Committee is comprised of no more than seven members of the Board that generally meets quarterly. Members are selected annually during the Committee appointment process conducted by the MTS Board of Directors.
