Palm Avenue Transit Oriented Development

National CORE and Malick Infill is expected to begin construction on a new transit-oriented development at Palm Avenue Station starting in late July 2026.

Construction at the station will reduce the number of available transit parking spaces starting the summer of 2026.

The development will consist of:

  • Phase 1: 79 apartment homes to be completed in 2028/2029
  • Phase 1: Bodega
  • Phase 1: Construction and maintenance of transit patron restroom 
  • Phase 2, 3 and 4: Approximately 330 apartment homes to be completed between 2030 and 2037
  • Phase 2: Day care 

This development is another project in MTS's continued effort in the development of its surplus land at transit centers. These projects help MTS to obtain more streams of revenue that will support transit operations, create better access to transit ridership and provide more affordable housing options to the region.
